The HUR air resistance exercise equipment is manufactured in Finland, and distributed in over 30 countries through an international network of distributors. Developed as the result of a research project at the University of Technology, Helsinki in 1989, the company has maintained close ties with the research community ever since. HUR’s Natural Transmission™ uses air as resistance to overcome additional effort required to lift a static weight at the beginning of an exercise and to slow it down at the end. Working over a ‘smoother’ range of motion or resistance curve reduces stress on vulnerable joints and connective tissues.

The HUR SmartTouch system automatically adjusts sets, reps, resistance and heart rate limit thanks to individual training programs. And records all activity for automatic reporting and feedback.
